Ear piercing closing up.. when can you get it redone?

so i pierced my third and fourth holes in my ears my self.. just on my lobe.. and it got all like swollen and infected stuff.. and i also didn't really like where i put my third one on one of the sides. my fifteenth birthday is almost here and my parents said i could get them done professionally. how long do i have to wait to get them redone professionally. someone said it would be a really long time before i could them redone because of like scar tissue? i just figured once they closed up id be good to get them done! any help would be fantastic. xoxo
