Is Clonazepam helpful for extreme fatigue?

Personally I do not think you need this med. My father was prescribed this for sleeping. He recently ped away at the age of 68. After bringing my very distraught mom home from the hospital where he ped, we gave her one of his pills to sleep. (Yes we know that is wrong, but desperate times calls for desperate measures) She slept for 16 hours and when she got up was dazed and confused for another couple of days. I know the grief had a part in this, but we believe the medicine just wiped her out. She was doing all the things you say you are experiencing when you take it. Look into something milder, Lexapro or something along those lines. Clonazepam is pretty strong stuff. Hope you find something that works for you.
