Help deciding between community college and private college.?

I have a dilemma on my hands. I dont know if I should go to community college, which is 2 grand per year or private college, which will cost me 3800 out of pocket each year and an additional 6500 per year in federal loans. What should I do? I want to be able to use my ap test scored of 4s and 5s but dont know if tey are transferable if i go to community college first. What should I do?
