My lcd flatscreen tv is fuzzy why?

hi i have a flatscreen lcd tv and its fuzzy it isnt hd, im using a freeview box wich gives out perfect picture and it is even fuzzy when using my ps2 or dvd player on it , iv tryed the sharpness but that didnt work there isnt no other setting that change it please help! thanks.
