Should I take the oppurtunity or no?

I have an oppurtunity to try out for an aau basketball team. I'm pretty good at basketball and stand a good chance of makeing it. I really like basketball and want to continue playing. Aau would allow me to continent playing the only thing is if I make the team my dad has to pay 400 dollars after tryouts on the second day. My family doesn't have this money right now and we would have to horrow the money from a relatve inhave already given my money towards the family this week to pay for my trip to Boston so I can't give anything. Idk if I should tryout or not pls give me ur opnion???
