TTC 17 months...bleh :( first round of clomid...?

I too have pcos, and i just finished my first round of clomid 50mg cd 5-9. I have about 2 weeks left before we know if it worked or not. I asked my dr about having iui done before i started the clomid, and he told me that pcos does not respond well to iui. I do not know if this is true, i just know thats what he told me. He had no problem starting me on clomid though, he also told me that if the clomid doesnt work that he is going to put me on gonal f. If i were you i would try the clomid for a cycle or two and see what happens. Best of luck and baby dust to you
