Can anyone inform me with certainty - about this matter??

I need to know - did the Federal Reserve board recently lower their interest prime lending rate?? And if so, was it done in January 2007, or when??? by how much did they lower it? I don't recall news reports about this , but all the banks have just recently dropped their CD rate offerings. I really would like to know for certain what transpired during Dec.2006 & jan.2007 ?? Thanks !!!
